Hi, I'm Lara

an illustrator living between Brussels and Barcelona.

 

I’ve been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil—probably even before I knew how to write my own name! My career as an illustrator had humble beginnings in the playground of my primary school, where I exchanged drawings for my classmates’ snacks.

 

Eventually, I decided to get a bit more serious and went on to study drawing at ERG (École de Recherche Graphique) in Brussels. These days, I pour my love for the quirky and the sensitive into my illustrations, always adding a pinch of humor and lightheartedness.

 

Most of my work dives into human behavior and how we react to life’s twists and turns.
